Having adequate shelter is  one  of the important things to ensure the  safety of you and your family.  These shelters will protect you from natural disasters such  as Fire, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Earthquakes and  man-made disasters, such as nuclear, biological or chemical attacks.  In times of civil uprising, riots, looting and other things demand that you have a safe shelter in which to store your  food, water & supplies and comfortably house your family until it is safe outside.

The ideal shelter can be made from culvert pipes, shipping containers, school buses and many other creative materials.  You should consider putting whatever you opt to use with at least 3-4 feet of earth above it for maximum protection against radiation.  Your door should secure from the inside, be  watertight and provide adequate filtered ventilation.
